TABLE DETAIL: DRAWINGS LINE ITEMS

The structure of this table was designed to record extensive detail about individual drawings for Frank Lloyd Wright commissions.

Note: The column labels shown within the table structures are historical references only, and do not reflect the definitions used within the version of the database being served through the website.

TABLE NOTES

Table DRAWINGS LINE ITEMS contains 6,204 rows arranged in 51 columns.

Entries record descriptive information related to individual Frank Lloyd Wright project drawings, including details about type, medium, size, scale, decorative enrichments, original and revision dates, authorship, owning repository, inventory number, note whether the drawing is signed by Wright, and incidental commentary by John Geiger. The structure of this elaborately developed table organizes Data entry was assisted by numerous choice lists built into the table structure for the consistent application of qualifiers, particularly for Columns [DECORATIVE ARTS], [DRAWING TYPE], [SCALE], and those related to drawing media description.

Records from the table are displayed as a subform of Table MMTFDRAWINGs FILE to group related individual drawings with detailed project information. This table provides lookup relationships for columns of Table Published/Drawings, and relies on lookup relationships with columns of Tables MMTFDRAWINGs FILE, AuthorLineItems, and MMTFNL.
