SERIES 2: FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT
HOUSE FOR GREGOR S. AFFLECK
Bloomfield Hills, Michigan (1940)
Frank Lloyd Wright, architect
Documentation consists of tracings of preliminary working drawings. In "Commentaries in Memoriam," Episode 1: My First Summer at the Fellowship, Geiger states that these tracings were made in 1941 from the original set in the possession of Wright client Gregor Affleck, and were used by Geiger for studying the compositional grammar of the architectonic form. The drawings are fragile and have suffered some edge loss over time. Because of this condition, the dimensions given are approximate.
