This interior residential remodeling for his mother was the first work undertaken by John Geiger following his departure from the Taliesin Fellowship. Photographs of the unaltered exterior of the Geiger house as seen in a promotional publicaton and interior views showing the alterations as incidental background can be found in other locations in the collection.
