DATABASE JGDB10 QUERY SET

PROCEDURE 89: JGBOOKLIBADDITIONS

The query returns a list of Frank Lloyd Wright books and other materials found in the Geiger library that were published after 1990.

Note: The column labels shown within the query structures are historical references only, and do not reflect the definitions used within the version of the database being served through the website.

PROCEDURE NOTES

Procedure JGBOOKLIBADDITIONS calls on Table MMJGBKLB, but the query structure is anomalous. There is no Column [X] in the table against whtich a filter is set ("= 1" or "=2"), nor is there a Column [P], which would have ordered the results. The query could not execute. This procedure was designed to locate specific books by using a manually entered unique numerical identifier Geiger created as an inventory number (e.g., "0314", for All and Everything, by Georgi Ivanovich Gurdjieff; and "0604", for Picturing Wright: An Album From Frank Lloyd Wright's Photographer, by Pedro E. Guerrero). The report format would have produced a block layout list with extensive bibliographical and valuation information. The comment found in the Report Format image below should be consulted; the "Item #0030" refers to the original working drawings for the Exhibition Pavilion at the 60 Years of Living Architecture installed at Hollyhock House in Los Angeles during 1954. See Barnsdall Art Park installation.
