DATABASE JGDB10 QUERY SET

PROCEDURE 45: JGICONLISTBYJOB#

The query returns a list of images related to Frank Lloyd Wright commissions regarded by John Geiger as iconographic.

Note: The column labels shown within the query structures are historical references only, and do not reflect the definitions used within the version of the database being served through the website.

PROCEDURE NOTES

Procedure JGICONLISTBYJOB# calls on Table ICONOGRAPHICS by using the row values of Frank Lloyd Wright project numbers in Column [COCOMMENTS] to reference citations for important images that could be accessed within the Geiger library or archival collection. This procedure is anomalous, calling on Tables ICONOGRAPHICS and ICONOLINEITEMS, which are not accessible or present in any surviving version of the Geiger database. Table INCONOGRAPHICS2 (sic) does contain similar definitions; it is possible that at some point the original table became corrupted or was lost through deletion. Geiger replicated the same functions in Table Inconographics2, which has 206 entries with similar columns for citation information. Here, however, Table ICONOLINEITEMS is wholly absent and the procedure cannot execute. The report format produced a list of references, including unique numerical identifiers, client name, project title, and citations of book, page, and/or figure.

The query structure is the same as PROCEDURE 108: JGICONLISTBYJOB# in Database JGDBFULL.
